We are responsible for the knowledge we have. We should know ourselves, what are my values, reactions, ideas and know about my culture. Every country has differences in its languages. Even though, in the same language we have different vocabulary and expressions. I read about American expression, maybe those can be real, but really don´t know if those are used over there because I from Costa Rica.
In Costa Rica we have a lot of expressions and idioms. Some of them are positives and some are negatives. Also, Ticos used to say colloquial expressions that are very informal. If you want to read some of them should visit the following pages (If you are Tico, you will know that all expressions are true, but are just for informal conversations.) And most of us do not use them.
